Bishop McNamara put another one in the bag on Saturday to keep their perfect season alive. They took down the Clifton Central Comets 83-69. Given the Fightin' Irish's advantage in MaxPreps' Illinois basketball rankings (they are ranked 39th, while the Comets are ranked 376th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Bishop McNamara's victory bumped their record up to 10-0. As for Clifton Central, with the loss, they broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 6-4.

Bishop McNamara will take on La Salette Academy in a holiday battle at at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. La Salette Academy will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something Bishop McNamara surely won't give up without a fight. As for Clifton Central, they will be home for the holidays to greet Illinois Lutheran at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
