After a string of four wins, Belton's good fortune finally ran out on Saturday. They fell 2-0 to the West Fork Gators.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead West Fork to victory, but perhaps none more so than Allison Lewis, who had five digs and two aces. That's the most digs Lewis has posted over her last six contests. Another player making a difference was Addison Lewis, who had 13 digs and one assist.

Belton's loss dropped their record down to 10-8. As for West Fork, they are on a roll lately: they've won 12 of their last 13 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-3 record this season.

Belton will head out to challenge Harker Heights at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for West Fork, they will welcome Hardin at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
