The Timberline Wolves put another one in the bag on Tuesday to keep their perfect season alive. They came out on top against Borah by a score of 41-34. Despite the win, that was the fewest points Timberline has scored all year.
Timberline was led to victory by Jackson Kelly and Jacob Heyne. Kelly scored 11 points, while Heyne scored 14 points. Those 14 points set a new season-high mark for Heyne. Another player making a difference was Alex Ko, who scored seven points.
Timberline's win was their 14th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 5-0. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 55.6 points per game. As for Borah, their loss dropped their record down to 2-4.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Timberline's homestand continues as they prepare to take on Eagle at 7:30 p.m. on December 21st. Borah will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Capital at 7:30 p.m. on December 22nd. Capital knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with flashy point totals in its past eight matches -- so hopefully Borah likes a good challenge.
