A Season-Best Performance from Jayden Jackson Leads Franklin over Troy
Franklin was led to victory by Jayden Jackson, who turned in his biggest game of the season on Friday. Jackson rushed for 286 yards and four touchdowns while picking up 17.9 yards per carry. The performance marked the most rushing yards he has had since back in December of 2023. His rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his sixth straight game with at least 106 rushing yards dating back to last season.
Jackson might have his next game, a road matchup with Little River Academy, circled on his calendar. Jackson rushed for 217 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 10.9 yards per carry the last time he and the Bumblebees duked it out back in November of 2023.

Tim Grice Goes Supernova in C.H. Yoe Victory
C.H. Yoe's five-game losing streak is now nothing but a memory thanks in part to Tim Grice. Grice did his part (and then some), picking up 147 receiving yards and two touchdowns, while also rushing for 91 yards and a touchdown for the 'W'. He really tore up the turf during one magnificent 92-yard run.
C.H. Yoe's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-5. Grice and C.H. Yoe will take on Troy at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.

Erik Sheppard's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Rockdale over Little River Academy
Rockdale was sadly handed a loss on Friday, but Erik Sheppard did his best to prevent it. Little River Academy had no answer to Sheppard as he picked up 124 receiving yards and a touchdown.
Rockdale's defeat was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 3-3. Sheppard and Rockdale will head out to challenge McGregor at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.

Brody Allen Turns in Season-Best Performance
On Friday, Little River Academy got the W thanks in part to Brody Allen playing the best football he has all season. Allen rushed for 76 yards and two touchdowns, and also threw for 233 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 11.7 yards per attempt.
Little River Academy moved to 1-5 with that victory, which also ended their six-game losing streak. Allen and Little River Academy will welcome Franklin at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.

Radyn Hamilton Sets Career High in Rushing Yards
On Friday, Rockdale had to settle for second even though Radyn Hamilton put up the best numbers he has all season. Hamilton rushed for 59 yards and three touchdowns, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process. He didn't just play on offense: he also picked up a sack and made seven total tackles.
On the season, Hamilton has run in 5 touchdowns while averaging 29 rushing yards per game.
