The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Cresset Christian Academy in their matchups with Cape Fear Christian Academy: they've now lost nine in a row.
Several Eagles players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Branson Green, who scored 17 points. Mario Jarett was another key contributor, scoring 13 points.
Cape Fear Christian Academy was led to victory by Kayden Dunkins and Zeke Brock. Dunkins scored 21 points, while Brock scored 25 points. Brock is on a roll when it comes to points, as he's now scored 15 or more in the last seven games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Cole Godwin, who scored nine points.
Cresset Christian Academy bumped their record down to 2-10 with that loss, which was their fourth straight at home. As for Cape Fear Christian Academy, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 10-8.
