Madisen Fleming made a splash no matter where she played. On the mound, she struck out nine batters over five innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off one hit (and only one walk). She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up more than two walks in three consecutive appearances. She was also solid in the batter's box, scoring two runs while getting on base in two of her four plate appearances.
In other batting news, Jefferson got a massive performance out of Sophia Alvarado, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with two runs, one triple, and one stolen base. What's more, Alvarado posted two RBI, the most she's had since back in February. Another player making a difference was Tarajii Thornton, who scored two runs and stole three bases while going 1-for-3.
Lennard played against Spoto on Tuesday and won via forfeit.
