Anthony Jeffery Crosses Big Stat Threshold
Starting off the list is Thomson's Anthony Jeffery, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. Jeffery rushed for 234 yards and four touchdowns on only ten carries. Thanks to that strong showing, he's now averaging 2.2 rushing touchdowns per game. Those 234 rushing yards gave him a new career-high.
Jeffery must have Glenn Hills's number; he was a force to be reckoned with the last time he faced them too. When Jeffery last faced the Spartans back in October of 2023, he picked up 38 receiving yards and a touchdown, and also rushed for 31 yards and a touchdown.

Burke County was led to victory by A'Merre Williams, who turned in his biggest game of the season on Friday. Williams rushed for 148 yards and four touchdowns on only five carries, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process.
Burke County pushed their record up to 5-1 with the victory, which was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season. Williams and Burke County will take on Glenn Hills at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.

Jaris Sinkfield Turns in Season-Best Performance
Jaris Sinkfield produced his most outstanding game to date while leading Thomson to the win on Friday. Sinkfield picked up 101 receiving yards and a touchdown, and also rushed for 62 yards and a touchdown.all of that, rushing production came thanks to one massive run
This year, Sinkfield has caught 5 touchdowns while averaging 55.7 receiving yards per game. He is looking even better than he did last year: after six games last season, he was only averaging 6.5 receiving yards per game.

Cordarius Free produced his most outstanding game to date while leading Burke County to the win on Friday. Free rushed for 70 yards and a touchdown, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process.
