In what's become a running theme this season, the Francis Parker Lancers gave their fans yet another huge victory on Monday. They claimed a resounding 77-36 win over Escondido Charter at home. Winning may never get old, but Francis Parker sure is getting used to it with their third in a row.
Francis Parker's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Tavid Johnson, who scored 22 points along with seven rebounds and two steals. Johnson is on a roll when it comes to points, as he's now scored 17 or more in the last three games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Kai Jones, who scored 14 points along with five assists and five steals.
Several White Tigers players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Max Mowrey, who scored six points. Ashton Pincock was another key contributor, scoring eight points.
Francis Parker's victory was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 13-10. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 80.6 points per game. As for Escondido Charter, their loss dropped their record down to 12-14.
