The Westampton Tech Panthers will face off against the Burlington City Blue Devils at 3:45 p.m. on Friday. Burlington City took a loss in their last match and will be looking to turn the tables on Westampton Tech, who comes in off a win.
Westampton Tech barely beat Palmyra the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. Westampton Tech put the hurt on Palmyra with a sharp 12-4 win on Wednesday. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for Westampton Tech considering their two-run performance the game before.

Jeret Torres made a splash no matter where he played. On the mound, he struck out nine batters over six innings while giving up just two earned (and two unearned) runs off five hits. Torres was also stellar in the batter's box, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 3-for-4. Torres is crushing it when it comes to stolen bases: he's snagged at least one every time he's taken the field this season.

Meanwhile, Burlington City came up short against Pemberton on Wednesday, falling 17-7. The Blue Devils have struggled against the Hornets recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive lost meeting.
Aiden Ohler led a balanced group of hitters, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 1-for-2. Another player making a difference was Jarrett James, who scored two runs and stole two bases while going 1-for-3.
Burlington City's loss dropped their record down to 3-2. As for Westampton Tech, they now have a winning record of 2-1.
Everything went Westampton Tech's way against Burlington City in their previous meeting back in May of 2024, as Westampton Tech made off with a 16-6 victory. Will the Panthers repeat their success, or do the Blue Devils have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
