Baseball Recap: Adams Central Has No Trouble Against Louisville

Adams Central won the last time they faced Louisville and things went their way on Saturday too. The Patriots blew past the Lions 17-1.

Adams Central let Liam Dyer and Jackson Sughroue run wild. Dyer scored four runs and stole four bases while going 3-for-4, while Sughroue scored two runs and stole a base while going 2-for-3. Those four stolen bases gave Dyer a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Kaleb Wahlmeier, who scored a run and stole a base.

Adams Central always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .571. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Louisville only posted an OBP of .333.

The win got Adams Central back to even at 1-1. As for Louisville, their loss dropped their record down to 0-2.
