While Freedom's win against Brandon wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Freedom Patriots had just enough and edged out the Brandon Eagles 6-4. The Patriots haven't had any issues with the Eagles recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive victory against them.

Freedom got a great performance from Dylan Hand as he struck out eight batters over 5.1 innings while giving up just two earned (and one unearned) runs off eight hits. Those hits were Hand's first of the season.

At the plate, the team relied heavily on Parker Crafton, who scored two runs while going 1-for-2. He also hit a double, marking his first of the season. Connor Cress was another key player, going 1-for-3 with one triple and one run.

Freedom hit smart and finished the game with only one strikeout. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now struck out at most five strikeouts in four consecutive matchups.

The win got Freedom back to even at 5-5. As for Brandon, their loss was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 3-7.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Freedom will square off against Middleton at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Middleton has struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 14.9 runs per game on average), something Freedom will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Brandon, they will challenge Lennard at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
