Despite the loss, Cooperstown had strong showings from Cooper Bradley, who dropped a double-double on 16 points and 13 rebounds, and Charlie Lambert, who scored 22 points along with seven assists and five rebounds. Lambert is absolutely dominating the steal category: he's posted at least two every time he's taken the court this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Conrad Erway, who scored six points along with eight rebounds.
Cooperstown has been struggling recently, as they've lost four of their last five contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 8-8 record this season. As for Waterville, their victory bumped their record up to 9-5.
Cooperstown will head out on the road to challenge Unatego at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Unatego is coming into the game on a four-game losing streak. As for Waterville, they will be playing at home against Morrisville-Eaton at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Morrisville-Eaton will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps New York Rankings (they are ranked 597th, while Waterville is ranked 137th).
