Ider entered their tilt with Fyffe on Thursday with four consecutive wins , and they'll enter their next game with five. They were the clear victor by  an  11-1 margin over the Fyffe Red Devils. This was payback for the Hornets, who suffered  a  7-4  loss the last time these two teams met.
 Miklyn Troxtel was a major factor while hitting and pitching. She  struck out ten batters over  five innings while giving up just one earned run off   seven  hits (and not a single walk). Those  ten  strikeouts gave  her a new career-high. She was also solid in the batter's box,  going 2-for-3 with three  RBI.
 In other batting news,  the team  relied heavily on  Makinley Traylor, who  scored four  runs and  stole  Two bases. while going 3-for-4. The dominant performance gave  her a new career-high in  runs.  Lillie Weldon also deserves some recognition as  she  brought in her first  RBI of the season.
Ider pushed their record up to 8-3 with the  victory, which was their fourth straight  at home. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.5 runs on average over those games. As for Fyffe,  they are  on  a  six-game losing streak  (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-4.
 Both  teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Ider will host Crossville  at 5:00  p.m.  on Monday. As for Fyffe, they will look to defend their home field  on Monday against Geraldine  at 4:30  p.m. Fyffe has given up an average of 11.8 runs per game this season, so hopefully the team got some pitching drills in this week.
