NSI Academy took care of business in their home opener. They were fully in charge on Saturday, breezing past Riverside 75-40. Riverside can consider this payback for the 0-76 loss they dealt NSI Academy the last time the teams encountered one another.
NSI Academy's offense came in ready to rumble, picking up 31 points in the first half. Riverside came up with 13 to make it 31-13 heading into the break. The offense for NSI Academy continued to do well in the second half, scoring another 44 points to put the game away. This was the first game for both teams, giving NSI Academy a 1-0 record and starting Riverside off at 0-1.
NSI Academy are packing up and heading on the road for the first time this season. They face off against Lingle-Fort Laramie next week at 7:00 PM. Riverside will be defending their home turf for the first time next week when they go up against Dubois at 6:00 PM.
