Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Spotswood). They enjoyed a cozy 80-65 win over the South River Rams on Thursday. The victory was all the more spectacular given the Chargers' disadvantage in MaxPreps' New Jersey basketball rankings (they are ranked 308th, while the Rams are ranked 146th).

Spotswood's win was their first in the league, bumping their league record up to 1-2 and their overall record up to 2-6. As for South River, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 4-3.

Spotswood will have a chance to go back-to-back against South River: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
