Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Hammond to victory, but perhaps none more so than Joseph Carbo, who scored 11 points along with three steals. Another player making a difference was Cartez Williams, who scored nine points along with three steals.
Hammond's victory bumped their record up to 7-4. As for Loranger, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 3-7.
Hammond will head out on the road to face off against Franklinton at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Franklinton will be looking to keep their four-game home win streak alive. Loranger will be home for the holidays to greet French Settlement at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. French Settlement presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Loranger in Louisiana (French Settlement is ranked 88th, while Loranger is ranked 217th).
