Central won the last time they faced Oak Ridge and Jamie Dawson-Ide did her part to make sure it happened again. The Tigers walked away with a 60-48 victory over the Blue Jays on Wednesday with plenty of help from Dawson-Ide, who went 10-for-23 en route to 25 points along with five assists and three steals. She is becoming a predictor of Central's success: when she posts at least 15 points the team is undefeated (and 1-3 when she doesn't).

Oak Ridge's loss came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Ella Hobeck, who posted ten points. Another player making a difference was Kenadie Ward, who earned six points and six boards.

Central now has a winning record of 4-3. As for Oak Ridge, they now have a losing record of 2-3.

Central has already played their next matchup, a 69-46 defeat against Chaffee on the 13th. As for Oak Ridge, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 65-48 win against Kelly on the 13th.
