Cristo Rey Research Triangle was led to victory by Jamaal Miller and Christian Gill. Miller dropped a double-double on 21 points and 14 rebounds, while Gill dropped a double-double on 26 points and ten rebounds. That makes it three consecutive games in which Gill has scored at least a third of Cristo Rey Research Triangle's points. Immanuel Holland was another key contributor, scoring eight points along with two steals.
Carolina Friends has been struggling recently, as they've lost six of their last eight contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-11 record this season. As for Cristo Rey Research Triangle, their win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 5-5.
