There's no place like home for Oblong, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Saturday. They simply couldn't be stopped on Friday as they easily beat the Hutsonville/Palestine Tigers 54-16. The contest marked the Panthers' most dominant win of the season.
Oblong's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Lucas Blessing led the charge by rushing for 221 yards and four TDs while picking up 12.3 yards per carry. As for Hutsonville/Palestine, they will be playing at home against South Fork/Edinburg/Morrisonville at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
