It was a close one, but on Friday Southwest Valley sidestepped West Central Valley for a 20-18 victory.
The win bumped Southwest Valley's record up to 3-0. West Central Valley are still searching for that first win as they fell to 0-3.
Next week Southwest Valley take on Clarinda at 7:00 PM. West Central Valley will be staying on the road, facing off against Nodaway Valley.
