The Trotwood-Madison Rams will head out on the road to challenge the Gamble Montessori Gators at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.
On Monday, Trotwood-Madison lost to the Falcons at home by a decisive 52-38 margin.
Gamble Montessori has been a dominant force so far, but they're in the middle of a mini-slump at the moment. They fell just short of DePaul Cristo Rey by a score of 31-28. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Gamble Montessori has scored all season.
Trotwood-Madison dropped their record down to 6-15 with that defeat, which was their third straight at home. As for Gamble Montessori, they have not been sharp recently as the team's lost three of their last four contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 13-5 record this season.
Everything came up roses for Trotwood-Madison against the Gators in their previous meeting back in January of 2023 as the squad secured a 51-21 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for Trotwood-Madison since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
