This season hasn't been kind to the Golden Gate Titans, who are still winless after their fourth matchup. They took a 43-25 bruising from Barron Collier on Tuesday. That's two games in a row now that Golden Gate has lost by exactly 18 points.
PEYTON HEFFLEFINGER was the offensive standout of the game as she scored 23 points. That makes it three consecutive games in which she has scored at least 25% of Barron Collier's points. Rebecca Van't Hoff was another key contributor, scoring 4 points along with 9 rebounds and 4 steals.
Golden Gate's defeat dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Barron Collier, they now have a winning record of 3-2.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Golden Gate will take on Aubrey Rogers at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Hopefully Aubrey Rogers focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 20 on Tuesday. As for Barron Collier, they will stay at home for another game and welcome Immokalee at 7:00 p.m. on November 30th. Immokalee comes in on a streak of failing to score more than 16 points in their last three games, a trend the team is of course eager to reverse.
