Galesburg Christian has been on the road for two straight, but on Tuesday they'll finally head home. They will be home for the holidays to greet the Faith Christian Falcons at 6:00 p.m. Both teams come into the game bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
On Friday, it was close, but Galesburg Christian ultimately received the gift of a 51-49 win from a begrudging Lionssquad.
Meanwhile, Faith Christian waltzed into their matchup Thursday with six straight wins but they left with seven. They claimed a resounding 62-34 win over East Moline Christian at home. The result was nothing new for Faith Christian, who have now won five contests by 28 points or more so far this season.
Galesburg Christian's win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 5-3. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 52.0 points per game. As for Faith Christian, their victory bumped their record up to 7-1.
Galesburg Christian was dealt a bruising 65-30 loss at the hands of Faith Christian when the teams last played back in January.
