The Pawnee City Indians put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their undefeated season alive. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Dorchester 52-25 on the road. With Pawnee City ahead 36-4 at the half, the game was all but over already.
It was another big night for Jett Farwell, who rushed for 85 yards and two touchdowns, and also threw for 31 yards and a touchdown. Pawnee City also got help from Anthony Kling who showed off his sure hands for 97 receiving yards.
Pawnee City's victory was their sixth straight on the road (dating back to last season), which bumped their overall record up to 8-0. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 57.0 points per game. As for Dorchester, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-7.
Pawnee City will be playing in front of their home fans against Sioux County at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Sioux County is also coming in off of a big victory, so somebody is in for a big reversal of fortune. Dorchester does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
