The Mission San Jose Warriors will face off against the Washington Huskies at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. Keep an eye on the score for this one: the two teams posted some lofty run totals in their previous games.
As a matter of fact, Mission San Jose put up the most runs they have all season on Wednesday. They were the clear victors by an 11-1 margin over American. Perhaps unsurprisingly given the team's high-flying offense, the game also marked the team's biggest win of the season.

Hailey Pan made a splash no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, pitching six innings while giving up just one earned run off five hits. She has been consistent: she hasn't given up more than two walks in eight consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, getting on base in all four of her plate appearances with two runs, one triple, and one stolen base. That's the most runs she has posted since back in April of 2024.
In other batting news, Aria Gokani and Anjali Singh did most of the damage at the plate: Gokani went a perfect 4-for-4 with two runs, two doubles, and one RBI, while Singh went 1-for-3 with four stolen bases and two runs. That's the most stolen bases Singh has posted since back in April of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of Emma Lee, who went 2-for-4 with two RBI and one run.
Mission San Jose always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .556. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.
Washington came out on top against Irvington on Tuesday thanks in part to the team's impressive eight-run seventh inning. The Huskies put the hurt on the Vikings with a sharp 15-7 victory. The win continues a trend for the Huskies in their matchups with the Vikings: they've now won eight in a row.
Washington let Jamilla Ingraham-Coats and Audrey Cooper run wild. Ingraham-Coats went 1-for-4 with three RBI, one run, and one double, while Cooper got on base in three of her six plate appearances with two runs and two RBI. That double was Ingraham-Coats' first of the season. Amaia Pagan was another key player, earning three runs.
Washington's record now sits at 7-16. As for Mission San Jose, with the victory, they broke their five-game losing streak and moved their record to 3-12.
Mission San Jose beat Washington 4-0 in their previous meeting back in April. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Warriors since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
