Atlee won the last time they faced Mechanicsville and things went their way on Friday too. The Raiders' pitchers stepped up to hand the Mustangs an 11-0 shutout. Considering the Raiders have won four matchups by more than ten runs this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Izzie Turnauer was a standout: she went 2-for-3 with two stolen bases, three runs, and two RBI. She is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as she's now snagged at least one in each of the last five games she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Shannon McKeever, who went 3-for-4 with three RBI and two doubles.

Atlee was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .438. They are a perfect 4-0 when they post a batting average of .375 or better.

Atlee now has a winning record of 5-4. As for Mechanicsville, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-8.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Atlee will take on Highland Springs at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Mechanicsville, they will challenge King George at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. The Foxes will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something the Mustangs surely won't give up without a fight.
