San Elizario is a perfect 10-0 against Fabens since April of 2022 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. The Eagles will look to defend their home field against the Wildcats at 6:00 p.m. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (San Elizario has eight straight victories, Fabens has seven straight defeats), but none of that matters once you're on the field.
San Elizario's pitching crew heads into the contest hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Tuesday. Everything went their way against Mountain View as they made off with a 16-0 win. The result was nothing new for the Eagles, who have now won ten matches by six runs or more so far this season.

Vivian Salcedo was incredible, going a perfect 4-for-4 with one home run, six RBI, and four runs. Those six RBI gave her a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Caylee Venegas, who scored three runs and stole a base while going 2-for-3.
San Elizario was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .577. That was just more of the same: they've now posted a batting average of .320 or higher in eight consecutive games.
Meanwhile, it was a proper cat-fight when Fabens took on Clint on Tuesday. The Wildcats came up short against the Lions, falling 19-6.
Alexssa Gallegos made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went a perfect 2-for-2 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs.
San Elizario pushed their record up to 13-17-1 with the victory, which was their fourth straight on the road. Those road wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 18.8 runs over those games. As for Fabens, their loss dropped their record down to 4-19.
Thursday's contest will be a test for both teams' pitchers. San Elizario hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .383. However, it's not like Fabens struggles in that department as they've averaged .378. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
San Elizario took their victory against Fabens in their previous meeting last Monday by a conclusive 21-2 score. Do the Eagles have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Wildcats turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
