The Altha Wildcats's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Saturday after their ninth straight loss. They were beaten by Bethlehem 64-8. The defeat unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Altha in their matchups with Bethlehem: they've now lost three in a row.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Bethlehem to victory, but perhaps none more so than Madison Williams, who scored 15 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Bre KImble, who scored 12 points.
Altha dropped their record down to 2-15 with that defeat, which was their 13th straight on the road. As for Bethlehem, their victory bumped their record up to 9-10.
Altha and Cottondale will face off at 5:30 p.m. on January 22nd without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. As for Bethlehem, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Poplar Springs at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Poplar Springs has now lost 13 straight, and the team is hunting for their first win since November 20.
