Advanced Math & Science Academy came out on top against Burncoat  on Tuesday thanks in part to the team's impressive seven-run fourth inning. The Eagles put the hurt on the Patriots with a sharp  11-5 victory. The high-scoring performance was a welcome turnaround for the Eagles' hitters, who had struggled in the games prior.
 Drew Laidley was a  major factor no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound,   striking out six batters over  four innings while giving up just two earned  (and two unearned) runs off   three  hits (and only one walk). Laidley was also big at the plate,  going 1-for-3 with two  stolen bases, three  runs,  and one  RBI.
 In other batting news, Advanced Math & Science Academy got a  massive  performance out of  Liam Thornley, who  went 2-for-3 with two  runs, one  stolen base,  and two  RBI. That's the most  runs  Thornley has posted since back in March. Another player making a difference was  Chuck Hammel, who  went 3-for-4 with one  triple, two  RBI,  and one  run.
 Meanwhile,  after a string of four wins, Bay Path RVT's good fortune finally ran out  on Monday. They lost  7-1 to St. Paul.
 Advanced Math & Science Academy's win  ended  a  three-game drought on the road  and  puts them at 10-4. As for Bay Path RVT, their defeat dropped their record down to 12-4.
 Advanced Math & Science Academy came out on top in a nail-biter against Bay Path RVT in their previous matchup  back in April, sneaking past  5-3. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Eagles since the  squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
