Luverne found their leader in underclassman Elliott Harris, who rushed for 132 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 7.8 yards per carry, and also picked up 147 receiving yards and a touchdown. Harris was no stranger to the big play, connecting on a big catch that went for 69 yards. Kane Smith was another key player, throwing for 232 yards and a touchdown on only 13 passes.
Perhaps unsurprisingly given the score, Luverne was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 247 rushing yards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now rushed for at least 195 rushing yards in three consecutive matches.

Montgomery Academy found their leader in underclassman Reid Mcbride, who threw for 236 yards and three touchdowns while completing 92.9% of his passes, and also punched in a touchdown on the ground.
