Unity Christian's offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.
Several Cyclones players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Faith Hughes, who scored eight points. Maddie Berry was another key contributor, scoring five points.
Unity Christian's victory ended a seven-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 1-7. As for Cornerstone Christian, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-7.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Unity Christian will take on Cerro Gordo/Bement at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
