Sunnyside Christian had a rough outing against Garfield-Palouse last week, but a little bit of home cooking seems to have fixed things right up. Sunnyside Christian were fully in charge on Thursday, breezing past Touchet 60-14. That result was just more of the same for Sunnyside Christian, who also won the last time these teams played.
The victory bumped Sunnyside Christian's record up to 2-1. Touchet are still searching for that first win as they fell to 0-3.
Sunnyside Christian will stay at home next week against St. John-Endicott at 7:00 PM. Touchet will be staying on the road, facing off against Colton. Both teams will be looking for a pick-me-up after considerable defeats in their previous games.
