It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but the Roscoe Plowboys had no problem doing just that on Thursday. They took their game on the road with ease, bagging a 50-22 victory over Windthorst. Considering Roscoe has won six games by more than 27 points this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.
Despite the defeat, Windthorst saw an underclassman step up: Brock Belcher threw for 254 yards and three touchdowns. Belcher hasn't dropped below three passing touchdowns for three straight games.
The victory was the fourth in a row for Roscoe, bringing their record for this year to 9-2. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 53.5 points per game. As for Windthorst, their defeat dropped their record down to 9-2.
Roscoe does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Windthorst also has no future games currently scheduled.
