Basketball Recap: Central Makes It Four in a Row on the Road

Central extended their road winning streak to four games thanks to a huge performance from Keri Foster. The Central Rockets had just enough and edged the Everglades Gators out 52-50 thanks in part to Foster, who went 9 of 15 on his way to 22 points along with five assists and five boards. He is on a roll when it comes to points, as he's now scored 15 or more in the last ten games he's played.

The team also got some help courtesy of Marlon Gaitan, who posted nine points and three steals. That's the most steals he has posted since back in November of 2024.

Despite the loss, Everglades still got an impressive performance from Lance Bailey, Jr, who almost dropped a double-double on ten points and nine rebounds. Another player making a difference was Chris Payoutte, who scored nine points and five boards.

Central's victory bumped their record up to 13-3. As for Everglades, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 10-8.

Central didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 59-53 win against Palmetto on the 21st. As for Everglades, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 59-47 victory against Flanagan on the 21st.
