Montgomery County didn't have too much trouble with South Laurel on Friday as they won 39-20.
Montgomery County started the game off right with 32 first-half points. Meanwhile, South Laurel couldn't get anything going offensively, leaving the score at 32-0 heading into the break. Montgomery County were outperformed in the second half 7-20 but had enough in reserve to walk away with the win. The victory bumped their record up to 5-1. The defeat dropped South Laurel's record to 4-2.
Next week Montgomery County take on Madison Southern at 7:30 PM. Montgomery County are cruising in on a four-game winning streak while Madison Southern are stumbling in off of three consecutive losses. As for South Laurel, they will face off against Southwestern.
