That  double marked the first that  Schmitt  hit this season. The team also got some help courtesy of  Brady Williams, who  went 2-for-3 with three  RBI.
 They weren't the only ones working in the  hit department: Rhea County  kept the outfield on their toes and  finished the game with 12  hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now  got at least eight  hits in three consecutive  contests.
Rhea County's defeat dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Notre Dame,  the  victory  got them back to even at 2-2.
 Coming up, Rhea County will square off against Soddy Daisy at 7:00  p.m.  on Thursday. Soddy Daisy is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 6.8  runs per game  this season. As for Notre Dame, they will face off against McMinn County at 5:00  p.m.  on Wednesday. McMinn County will roll in looking for their  fourth straight  win, something Notre Dame surely won't give up without a fight.
