Canyon View waltzed into their match on Tuesday with five straight wins... but they left with six. They put the hurt on the Buckeye Hawks with a sharp 10-2 win. Considering the Jaguars have won 18 games by more than five runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

Canyon View got a massive performance out of Makenzie Jones, who went 1-for-3 with one home run and three RBI. Samantha Galindo was another key player, going 2-for-3 with two runs, one stolen base, and one RBI.

Canyon View pushed their record up to 23-4 with the victory, which was their fourth straight on the road. The team dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 7.2 runs. As for Buckeye, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 13-7.

Canyon View will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Hawks: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
