St. Edward's Austin Miller rumbled for the longest rushing play in 6-Man East (6 Man) this season in his game against Santee last week. Miller ran for 72 yards on the play and finished with 97 on the day as his team bested the Warriors.
St. Edward took down Santee 63-13 last week, the largest margin of any game. Miller ran for 97 yards in the win.
Elkhorn Valley's offense was unstoppable this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. Kendall Albin threw for 56 and 2 touchdowns and Chris Petersen had 35 yards receiving. On the ground Noah Rutjens contributed 231 yards.
The Falcons' dynamic duo of Albin and Petersen proved tough for Walthill to stop, as they were the top passer and receiver in the league this week.
Rutjens was a beast in the backfield as Elkhorn Valley defeated the Bluejays.
Rutjens provided a threat through the air and on the ground as Rusty Rautenberg's team beat Walthill. Rutjens' key target this week was Petersen, who caught 2 passes for 35 yards.
Leading the league in both passing and receiving yards, Silver Lake's Seyler Monroe and Quentin Journey have proven to be a lethal combination. Monroe has thrown for 510 yards this season, while Journey, a 5-foot-7 receiver, has 10 catches for 168 yards. Jereme Jones' team's Miller leads the league in rushing yards with 612.
An important game coming up in the league this week will be when Arcadia takes on the Falcons. At the moment, the Huskies are in third, while Elkhorn Valley is in second.
