The Drayton/Valley-Edinburg Titans will head out on the road to challenge the Midway/Minto Mustangs at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Drayton/Valley-Edinburg is no doubt hoping to put an end to a six-game streak of away losses.
Last Tuesday, Drayton/Valley-Edinburg beat the Polar Bears 58-50. The win was just what Drayton/Valley-Edinburg needed coming off of a 77-50 loss in their prior match.
Meanwhile, Midway/Minto entered their tilt with the with three consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with four. Midway/Minto walked away with a 69-61 victory over the on Tuesday. Having run the score up that high, both teams probably have some extra defensive drills coming up.
Drayton/Valley-Edinburg's victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 2-10. As for Midway/Minto, their win bumped their record up to 10-6.
Drayton/Valley-Edinburg was dealt a bruising 78-40 defeat at the hands of the Mustangs in their previous meeting back in February of 2023. Can Drayton/Valley-Edinburg avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
