Bohemia Manor is coming in off a wild two-game stretch: after soaring to 21 runs last Wednesday, they were much more limited against Havre de Grace on Friday. They took a 4-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Warriors.
Lyla Wescoat (2027) was huge no matter where she played even without the win. On the mound, she struck out six batters over seven innings while giving up just two earned (and two unearned) runs off six hits (and only one walk). She has been consistent for a while: she hasn't given up more than two walks in 17 consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, going 1-for-2 with one home run.
Wescoat (2027) wasn't the only one making solid contact as four players wound up with at least one hit. One of them was Kylee Bergman (2025) Salisbury, who went 2-for-3 with one double.
Meanwhile, it's playoff time, and St. Michaels had no trouble coming through when it counted. They blew past Kent County 19-13 on Thursday. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Saints.
Lola Browning was a standout: she went 4-for-5 with one home run, four runs, and four RBI. That's the most runs she has posted since back in April. Another player making a difference was Sofia Miller, who went 3-for-4 with two stolen bases, three RBI, and two runs.

St. Michaels' pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: Bohemia Manor has been making plenty of contact this season, having averaged 9.7 hits per game. It's a different story for St. Michaels, though, as they've been averaging 8.7 hits. Given Bohemia Manor's sizable advantage in that area, the Saints will need to find a way to close that gap.
Bohemia Manor took their win against St. Michaels in their previous meeting back in May of 2024 by a conclusive 11-1 score. Do the Eagles have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Saints turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
