The Beamer Titans will be home for the holidays to greet the Kentlake Falcons at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Beamer comes in still looking for their first win of the season.
Last Thursday, Beamer came up short against Kent-Meridian and fell 37-26.
Despite the defeat, Beamer got a solid performance out of Jane Wanjiku, who scored 12 points along with five rebounds.
Kentlake can finally bid farewell to their three-game losing streak dating back to last season thanks to their game last Friday. They snuck past Auburn Riverside with a 46-40 win. The victory was just what Kentlake needed coming off of a 71-16 loss in their prior game.
Beamer's defeat dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Kentlake, their victory ended a six-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 1-1.
Beamer took their victory against Kentlake in their previous meeting back in January by a conclusive 56-32. Does Beamer have another victory up their sleeve, or will Kentlake turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
