The Denton Broncos will head out on the road to take on the Lake Dallas Falcons at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Neither Denton nor Lake Dallas posted many goals in their last games, so it might be the defenses that decide this one.
After a string of five wins, Denton's good fortune finally ran out on Tuesday. They fell just short of Grapevine by a score of 2-1. Denton has struggled against Grapevine recently, as their match on Tuesday was their seventh consecutive lost matchup.

Meanwhile, Lake Dallas kept a clean sheet against Colleyville Heritage on Tuesday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 1-0 win over the Panthers. The result kept Lake Dallas happy, as they haven't lost a game since January 17th.
Denton's defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 10-3. As for Lake Dallas, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won four of their last five contests, which provided a nice bump to their 9-2-2 record this season.
Denton might still be hurting after the 5-2 loss they got from Lake Dallas in their previous meeting back in March of 2023. Can Denton avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
