The Badger Braves will be playing at home against the Hubbard Eagles at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Badger will be looking to keep their 18-game home win streak alive.
Badger put the finishing touches on their 12th blowout victory of the season on Thursday. They claimed a resounding 59-31 victory over Pymatuning Valley on the road. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest win Badger has posted since January 4th.
Badger relied on the efforts of Gabriella Miller, who scored 14 points along with seven rebounds and seven steals, and Katie Grexa, who scored 25 points along with nine rebounds and five steals. That makes it three consecutive games in which Grexa has scored at least a third of Badger's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Brianna Huscroft, who scored nine points.
Meanwhile, Hubbard was just a bucket shy of victory on Monday and fell 48-47 to Struthers.
Badger's victory bumped their record up to 16-2. As for Hubbard, they have traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost six of their last eight matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-9 record this season.
