Cayden McFalls looked comfortable as he struck out six batters over three innings while giving up just one earned run off two hits. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than two hits in seven consecutive appearances.

That's the most runs Okoniewski has posted since back in March. Reed Osborne was another key player, getting on base in three of his four plate appearances with one home run and two runs.

Luke Hutchens got the start for Forbush and what a start it was: he struck out eight batters over 6.2 innings while giving up just two earned runs off eight hits (and only one walk).

That triple was Mullins' first of the season. Another player making a difference was Bo Moxley, who went 2-for-3 with one run, one double, and one RBI.

The batters for both teams will have to hit smart on Tuesday as both have some strikeout artists on the roster. Lincoln Charter has been retiring batters left and right this season, having averaged 8.5 strikeouts per game. However, it's not like Forbush struggles in that department as they've been averaging 9.1 strikeouts. Considering how easily both teams rack up Ks, the hitters on both teams better bring their A-game into this one.
Lincoln Charter beat Forbush 7-4 when the teams last played back in May of 2022. Do the Eagles have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Falcons turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
