It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but the Tioga Tigers had no problem doing just that on Friday. They blew past Dolgeville, posting a 56-12 win on the road. The win was just business as usual for Tioga, who after 12 games remain undefeated this season.
Tioga's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Drew Macumber led the charge by rushing for 47 yards and two touchdowns. Macumber hasn't dropped below two rushing touchdowns for four straight games. Shea Bailey made the highlight reel by snagging an interception and taking it all the way to the house.
Tioga pushed their record up to 12-0 with that victory, which was their 11th straight on the road dating back to last season. They've been dominating during the contests in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 34.27 points. As for Dolgeville, their defeat ended a 13-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 8-3.
Tioga is on the road again on Friday and play against Clymer Central/Sherman/Panama at 3:00 p.m. on November 24th. Clymer Central/Sherman/Panama is also coming in off of a big victory, so somebody is in for a big reversal of fortune. Dolgeville does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
