Chattahoochee has enjoyed a three-game homestand but will soon have to dust off their road jerseys. They will square off against the Cambridge Bears at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Given that both teams suffered a loss in their last game, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this match.
It's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 59-32, which was the final score in Chattahoochee's tilt against the Longhorns on Tuesday.
Even though the team lost, they still had their share of impressive performances. One of the best came from Loren Withrite, who scored 18 points along with two steals. Brooklinne Dorr was another key contributor, almost dropping a double-double on nine points and nine rebounds.
Meanwhile, Cambridge came up short against the Spartans on Tuesday and fell 56-47.
Chattahoochee has traveled a rocky road recently having lost five of their last six contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 14-8 record this season. As for Cambridge, their defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 10-12.
Chattahoochee came up short against the Bears in their previous meeting back in January, falling 35-24. Can Chattahoochee avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
