Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead San Benito to victory, but perhaps none more so than Angelina Reyes, who scored 23 points along with seven rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Jakeida Ibarra, who scored eight points along with nine rebounds and two steals.
Meanwhile, Weslaco stacked a 14th blowout win onto their ever-increasing hoard on Wednesday. They took their match at home with ease, bagging a 68-13 victory over Hanna. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest win Weslaco has posted yet this season.
San Benito is on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last ten games, which provided a nice bump to their 20-7 record this season. As for Weslaco, their win bumped their record up to 22-8.
