The Stockbridge Tigers entered their tilt with the Lovett Lions with four consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with five. Stockbridge claimed a resounding 75-16 win over Lovett on the road. That 75-16 margin sets a new team best for Stockbridge this season.
Stockbridge's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Jayla Fulks, who scored 16 points along with three steals. The contest was Fulks' fourth in a row with at least ten points. Jaidyn Chestnut-Hill was another key contributor, scoring 12 points along with seven steals and six rebounds.
Stockbridge's victory bumped their record up to 12-4. As for Lovett, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-15.
Stockbridge will head out on the road to face off against Pace Academy at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Pace Academy is also coming in off of a big victory, so somebody is in for a big reversal of fortune. As for Lovett, they will look to defend their home court on Friday against Hampton at 6:00 p.m. Hampton is coming into the matchup on a three-game losing streak.
