The Sheridan Generals will be playing in front of their home fans against the Bishop Hartley Hawks at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Both teams are coming into the matchup red-hot, with Sheridan sitting on three straight victories and Bishop Hartley on six.
Sheridan extended their postseason success on Friday against Gallia Academy. They claimed a resounding 42-0 win over the Blue Devils at home. The result was nothing new for Sheridan, who have now won six matches by 21 points or more so far this season.
Meanwhile, Bishop Hartley beat St. Clairsville 23-13 on Friday.
Bishop Hartley's success was spearheaded by the efforts of Bryson Winbush, who gained 86 total yards and a touchdown, and Robert Lathon, who rushed for 126 yards and a touchdown.
Their wins bumped Sheridan to 11-1 and Bishop Hartley to 10-2.
Sheridan came up short against Bishop Hartley in their previous meeting back in October of 2020, falling 10-6. Thankfully for Sheridan, Marcelis Parker (who rushed for 153 yards and a touchdown) won't be suiting up this time. Will that be enough to change the final result? There's only one way to find out.
