The Neumann Celtics waltzed into Saturday's match with two straight wins but they left with three. They blew past Monsignor Pace 77-41 on the road. For Neumann, this counts as revenge for the 68-66 loss Monsignor Pace walked away with the last time they faced one another back in November of 2022.
Sophia Mccartney had a dynamite game for Neumann, dropping a double-double on 24 points and 22 rebounds. That makes it three consecutive games in which Mccartney has scored at least 25% of Neumann's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Sydney Martin, who scored 18 points along with 8 rebounds.
Neumann's win bumped their record up to 3-0. As for Monsignor Pace, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-1.
Neumann will be playing at home against Seacrest Country Day at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Monsignor Pace, they will head out on the road to face off against Ransom Everglades at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
